INSTRUCTIONS
We would like to let you know that each window is re-sizable ( as you move your cursor to the bottom right corner of the window, an arrow appears and you can resize the window using the arrow) and that you can change the place of the windows to have a lay out of your preference as well as to layer them if need be for different constellations.
Please note that the windows can also be closed by clicking the cross (X) at the top right corner and be re-opened.
We recommend that after you close a window you make its size as small as possible so that it does not take up much space in our ‚stage.‘While you can choose, play, pick, read and combine as you wish, here come our suggestions for possible ‚moments‘.
To start with make sure that: all windows are closed and the sound of your computer/laptop is on.
ONE
1.
Open the window CHOOSE A VIDEO 1. Make it big enough to see the choice of videos.
2.
Open the window PICK A SOUND.
3.
Pick and play „Rivery“ on PICK A SOUND.
4.
Choose and play „Portraits“ on CHOOSE A VIDEO 1 and make the window as big as possible and choose the center position of your screen to watch it.
TWO
1.
Open the window PICK A SOUND and please pick and play „Hello Sexy“.
2.
At minute 00:22 of the sound (there is an „echo“ in the sound), open the window CHOOSE A VIDEO 1 and choose and play „Delay 1“. Make the window as big as possible and choose the center position of your screen to watch it.
3.
When the video is finished, click on the cross at the right-top-corner to close the video window. Leave it like this and in this size and listen to the sound until its end.
THREE
1.
Open the window READ A TEXT and select the story „Doppelgänger“ by Marc Lunghuß. Please read it.
2.
After reading it, please close this window and put it aside by resizing and moving it.
3.
Open the window CHOOSE A VIDEO 1. Choose and play „Doppelgänger“. Make the window of the video as big as possible and choose the center position of your screen to watch and listen to it.
FOUR
1.
Open the window CHOOSE A VIDEO 1 and resize the window so it takes the full half of the left side of your screen.
2.
Open the window CHOOSE A VIDEO 2 and resize the window so it takes the full half of the right side of your screen.
The window of CHOOSE A VIDEO 2 and CHOOSE A VIDEO 1 should have nearly the same size.
The window of CHOOSE A VIDEO 2 and CHOOSE A VIDEO 1 should have nearly the same size.
3.
Choose and play „Public Space 1“ or „Public Space 2“ on CHOOSE A VIDEO 1.
4.
Choose and play „Zapping (original)“ on CHOOSE A VIDEO 2.
FIVE
1.
Open the window CHOOSE A VIDEO 2. Make it big enough to see the choice of videos.
2.
Open the window PICK A SOUND and pick and play „Memories“.
4.
Choose and play „Delay 2“ on CHOOSE A VIDEO 2 and make the window take the full half of the left side of your screen.
5.
When the video stops, find a good moment to stop the sound.
SIX
1.
Open the window CHOOSE A VIDEO 1 and resize the window so it takes the full half of the left side of your screen.
2.
Open the window CHOOSE A VIDEO 2 and resize the window so it takes the full half of the right side of your screen.
The window of CHOOSE A VIDEO 2 and CHOOSE A VIDEO 1 should have nearly the same size.
As an option: Open the window PICK A SOUND and pick and play:
a) „Hallo Sexy“ or
b) „Rivery“ or
c) „Deep Introspective Hum with Heavy Breathing“ or
d) You choose not to use a sound at all.
The window of CHOOSE A VIDEO 2 and CHOOSE A VIDEO 1 should have nearly the same size.
As an option: Open the window PICK A SOUND and pick and play:
a) „Hallo Sexy“ or
b) „Rivery“ or
c) „Deep Introspective Hum with Heavy Breathing“ or
d) You choose not to use a sound at all.
3.
Choose and play „Portraits“ on CHOOSE A VIDEO 1.
4.
At minute. 00:22 please choose and start playing „Delay 2“ on CHOOSE A VIDEO 2.
SEVEN
1.
Open the window CHOOSE A VIDEO 1. Make it big enough to see the choice of videos. Please switch off the volume of the video.
2.
Open the window PICK A SOUND and pick and play „Call“.
3.
Choose and play „Public Space 1“ on CHOOSE A VIDEO 1 and resize the window so it takes the full half of the right side of your screen.
4.
When the video and sound are over, don’t forget to switch on the volume of the video again.
EIGHT
We suggest that you use headphones for this: So please put them on if you have some.
1.
Open the window CHOOSE A VIDEO 2. Make it big enough to see the choice of videos.
2.
Open the window PICK A SOUND.
3.
Choose and play „Surfaces“ on CHOOSE A VIDEO 2 and make the window as big as possible and choose the center position of your screen to watch it.
4.
Pick and play „Deep Introspective Hum with Heavy Breathing“ on PICK A SOUND and turn on the volume.
5.
After the ending of the video switch off the sound afterwards in its silence by minute 04:35.
NINE
1.
Open the window CHOOSE A VIDEO 1. Make it big enough to see the choice of videos. Please switch off the volume of the video.
2.
Open the window PICK A SOUND and pick and play „Wow Rakete“.
3.
Choose and play „Public Space 2“ on CHOOSE A VIDEO 1 and resize the window so it takes the full half of the right side of your screen.
4.
When the video and sound are over, don’t forget to switch on the volume of the video again.
TEN
1.
Open the window CHOOSE A VIDEO 1 and resize the window so it takes the full half of the left side of your screen.
2.
Open the window CHOOSE A VIDEO 2 and resize the window so it takes the full half of the right side of your screen.
The window of CHOOSE A VIDEO 2 can have a bigger size than the window of CHOOSE A VIDEO 1.
The window of CHOOSE A VIDEO 2 can have a bigger size than the window of CHOOSE A VIDEO 1.
3.
Choose and play „Surfaces“ on CHOOSE A VIDEO 2.
4.
At minute 00:14 please choose and start playing „Doppelgänger“ on CHOOSE A VIDEO 1.
ELEVEN
1.
Open the window READ A TEXT and select the story „Forgotten professions #5: Tour Guide“ by Onur Karaoğlu. Please read it.
2.
After reading it, please close this window and put it aside by resizing and moving it.
3.
Open the window CHOOSE A VIDEO 1. Choose and play „Surfaces“. Make the window of the video as big as possible and choose the center position of your screen to watch and listen to it.
TWELVE
1.
Open the window CHOOSE A VIDEO 1.
Choose and play the video „storytelling 1“ OR „storytelling 2“ and switch off the volume of the video.
